How do you know when to leave a place? How bad does the energy really need to be?
I know that the other night I would have happily stayed (and I think that most of the party would have, too, if Leo hadn't seemed frightened). So I guess for us that what made us leave the place was the fact that our most experienced member was scared by whatever it was that was coming towards us.
How do you decide when to leave? Or do you always wait until the investigation is over? |

| I think the best way to know when you should leave is when you have any "bad feelings" about your surroundings. Whenever I have a nervous feeling or a bad feeling about a place I always leave because I know something doesn't want me to be there. Now if anything were to start moving in a "harmful" way, then I would definently leave. |

This is the weird thing: Apart from Theatre 11 (that's the one, right Lodi?) I never had that feeling of "get out of here," including at the Ray Farm where we've already had a number of strange experiences as a team.
Of course, the last time that we were there, Leo and I just "saw" some things, like the dog, and we did hear the wailing sound that seemed as though it might even have been a banshee. But by itself that wasn't a "warning." I was just a bit creeped out because it was dark. |

| It was auditorium 15. Which by the way is fine now. |

Are you sure it was 15? The dark one in the corner that wasn't 2?
And I know, I was down there two years ago and there was nothing. Do you remember me telling you about the time that I "communicated" with it when I was over there? That was creeply.
For those of you who don't know the story... All I did was tell whatever "it" was that I wasn't afraid of it, and it got a lot easier for me to deal with that side of the projection booth after that. |

| Am I sure? Yes, it is auditorium 15. 11 has the exit doors right there. Speaking of 11, there is sometimes a metal banging sound in the corner. I should really write all this in a reply to the theater post. I'll do that tonight or tomorrow. |

| Okay, no problem. Thanks for taking the time to do it, Lodi. I think I remember hearing that sound by 11 (and you're right, 11 is where we always smoked!). Is there any chance you might be able to get some recordings in the booth? I'm still really curious even though it feels "clean." |

I don't think you want me to try to record when the projectors are running??
I open on Saturday, I could try it when I open the booth. I have a digital recorder. How exactly should I go about this? |

If it's just a standard digital (i.e. NOT voice activated) just put it up there in a key spot (#2 would be a good one too, if what I heard over there is still going on -- I was the only one I know who ever heard it!), and let it run while you thread up the rest of the booth.
We generally only record for about ten mintutes at a time because it makes it that much easier for us to analyze it.
Oh, one other thing. Pom, could you please send me or Jessica the entire recording from the phone conversation so we can go over it and see if Lodi's right about there being something else on the recording? Thanks! |

It will be awhile before we can analyze it, but I'd be curious about this one simply because it seems as though the voices were speaking TO you.
I'm going to try to split this topic appropriately now :) |

| I think they're better when the voices are talking to the person doing the recoring, aren't they? Like when you're communicating with something on the other side and not just recording... What do you call them? |
