Okay, so I'm a Pagan, and I can usually tell when a house has been "blessed." In this case, when we moved into the house, it had been cleansed so thoroughly that it felt uncomfortable (true fact), but it wasn't long before the "cleansing" that this house had endured was wiped away and it became one of the most haunted places I've ever lived in.
We had a lot of activity in this house, and friends of ours eventually refused to return. The entire grounds felt as though there was a "bad energy" here, and this was where the "growling toilet" incident occurred.
Additionally, during visits with Leo's children, on several occasions I could hear his oldest daughter (the one we don't share together) breathing by the foot of our bed. Another time I told him that one of the kids was trying to get into the bedroom (we had the door locked at the time). When we checked, all three of them were safely tucked up in their beds, fast asleep.
I loved this house, but I think that at the end of the day I loved it because the house wanted us to be there. The energy of the place was that of a place that isn't haunted, but has a strong energy of its own, probably something coming up through the land itself.
Very interesting. |
