This is a transplant from the old board. I've copied and pasted all messages from this thread here, so please bear with me because of the length.

I believe the plan is for PAGIN to go on an investigation tonight. I can't wait to tell you all about it. Jessica, Leo and I are all going to head out to an area we believe might be haunted and see what we might pick up.
It's going to be exciting! We'll post the results here tomorrow or Friday. |

This investigation was not at all what I'd been expecting. Though I think that the best person to comment on the experience is going to be Jessica, I want to say that I hadn't realized that the place we were going to was absolutely riddled with activity.
We did pick up a couple of EVPs but Jess needs to analyze them before we'll be able to get them uploaded to the site for you to enjoy. This time we had a conversation with a woman and a man named Arthur whose last name might have been Ray.
Unfortunately we will not be returning to this particular location at night again as the spirits we contacted became somewhat violent (throwing rocks at our car), but we intend to go back during the daylight hours, when the "feel" of the place is totally different.
This, by the way, was my first experience with running the equiptment instead of being "resident psychic." While it kept me calm to be in charge of the equiptment, I feel like I missed out on some of the better experiences this time around.
Again, I'm sure that Jessica will have a lot to say about this one! |

The house we visited is an old abandoned farm house. It sits at the end of a long dirt road in Wake Forest. We all took my car, so I was driving, and when we pulled up I got a huge chill down the back of my neck. I knew I wasn't being paralyzed by fear because nothing special had happened, and I was still aware of what was going on. It took every bit of energy I had to say, "I can't move." I couldn't even move my hand off of the steering wheel! When Leo and Becki realized I really couldn't move, Leo opened my car door and pulled me out of the car and squeezed me in his arms to move whatever was in/on me. Leo felt very cold to me, but yet I didn't feel warm, and I couldn't quite feel his touch for a while. After a while, I could move again, but I was very shaken and refused to go any closer. It was like a wave had crashed on me and told me to STOP. We decided to leave when Leo and my mother heard a heavy footsteps on the dirt road right in front
of them. It was more like they both jumped back in the car and we sped away. The entities there were becoming violent by throwing rocks at our car and charging at us, so we decided it best to leave as quickly as possible!
Later that night, Leo had said that I felt freezing cold to him, but yet he felt freezing cold to me. Apparently, there was a force that wrapped around me and made me stop!

What's really interesting is that we have one set of footsteps on record. It isn't very clear, but it's definitely there, and eventually, when we get the downloads worked out, you'll be able to hear the footsteps as they come towards us.
At another point, I asked the spirits to make a sign for us that they recognized our presence, and on the recording you can hear one of the crashes from inside the house.
Now, to be clear: There wasn't anybody LIVING inside the house. We did everything we could to bring any "vagrants" out into the open if they'd been in the house, and there were not. Unfortunately we couldn't get in because there was a "wall" keeping us out. I believe that there was once a stone wall around the property which still exists in spirit.
What Jess didn't point out is that we were parked right in the middle of it. The feeling was that of a redneck with a shotgun standing on the front porch and shooting at the intruders on his property at 12 am.
It makes sense, if you think about it. Scary nonetheless. |
